Hi I'm Ruth. I am a Turner and Historical interpreter with a background in informal education.  

At a very young age I was captivated by the turning cirlcles of the lathe and have loved it ever since. 

Today I am a maker, teacher and demonstrator promoting the many applications of the craft past, present and for the future.

I am Professionally qualified in Youth and Community work with 20 years experience.

In 2022 I was awarded a Bursary from the Worshipful Company of Turners and in 2023 became a Yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Turners.
